I'm interested to know how Libertarians feel about emergency services, a healthcare system in the post-corruption phase, a military, infrastructure (especially power), etc.
Should we really leave potential failure up to fluctuations in a Capitalist economy?
If the Healthcare industry (especially after taming the pharma industry) were swamp-drained, would you still be opposed to it, especially if the funding was generally used for research more than just building hospitals and staffing them?
How, exactly do Libertarians defend limited funds for Defense? I know they generally lean toward Isolationism, but they often fail to realize that if we abandon our Colonialism now that the world economy would collapse in days (if that, even), at least, that's normally how this point is argued.
We could make vast industrial achievements if we actually spent money to combat real problems and actually ensured competence to the point that we don't fail to fix things more often than we are actually successful. See Nikola Tesla, for example.
For the record, I don't exactly disagree. Although, I am curious to see how you'd defend these points.
