ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – Rochester Police officials say a passerby noticed a suspicious object underneath a concrete bench at the Calvary Episcopal Church about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and called police.

Police say it is a small “assembled” device, about 4 inches tall, and 5 inches wide. “It looks like it has batteries, looks like it has wires coming out of it,” says RPD Sgt. Steve Thompson. “it looks some something that wouldn’t be purchased in the condition we found it. It looks like it was put together that way. Where it was found it doesn’t look like it was randomly tossed in that direction.”
