The fact that the donor need to still be alive is common knowledge and common sense. The premise that there is a conspiracy to "deliberately leave us believing the donor is already truly dead before the organs are taken" is invalid. Obviously, if the person was truly, thoroughly, and completely dead then the organs would be too and would be of no use to anyone. As for the NN sensationalism about people being conscious and aware, they would be no more conscious and aware than they would during any other surgery.
