>She is smart, but doesn't think she's smart enough to teach them.

This doesn't make sense…if she's smart enough to be a good parent and help teach them right from wrong and navigate this crazy fuckin' world, she should certainly be able to guide the education process…I say "guide" because there are so many materials available that the parent doesn't have to know all about the subject matter…it certainly might help, but I doubt that it would be absolutely necessary…and maybe it could turn out to be a bonding experience where parent and child learn something new at the same time.

Sounds to me like she needs the leader in you to assign her with the responsibility of taking care of the schooling…I would expect as the process evolves, she'll gain more self-confidence and grow naturally into the role of "school-marm". kek

YMMV, cuz I'm just spitballin'…but I've noticed that many women regularly underestimate their abilities.
