Border wall could delay $139 million earmarked for critical Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach improvements

President Trump’s plan to pull funding from military construction projects to pay for a Mexican border wall could delay more than $139 million in critical infrastructure funding for U.S. Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach.

The station’s needs include replacing a 60-year-old ammunition pier, dredging Anaheim Bay and constructing missile storage warehouses.

The installation’s strategic importance is expected to increase in coming years because the Navy plans to base 60% of its ships in the Pacific Ocean by 2020, up from 40% a decade ago, according to a Navy study.

Seal Beach’s primary missions are to store ordnance for the Navy and Marine Corps, load and unload ammunition and maintain weapons on warships departing San Diego.

During the course of the investigation, the Office periodically identified evidence of

potential criminal activity that was outside the scope of the Special Counsel's jurisdiction

established by the Acting Attorney General. After consultation with the Office of the Deputy

Attorney General, the Office referred that evidence to appropriate law enforcement authorities,

principally other components of the Department of Justice and the FBI.

Guess what I'm saying is LBP ain't Long Beach Port, 'cause that's a pic of Seal Beach, and it ain't Long Beach pier, 'cause there ain't no such thing.

LBP has meaning.

I think it has the same meaning as BDT, but this time Lebanese, not Bangledeshi.
