Despite the fact that the Special Council, no matter how many lives he ruined, couldn’t find a shred of evidence against the President, CNN is still pushing that impeachment drug on their gullible viewers.

Clapper, a known liar who many consider to be a coup plotter himself, claimed that there is indeed a pathway to impeachment of President Trump, if the Congress were to choose to follow it.

Russia Truther Eric Swalwell Calls on AG Barr to Resign

Democrats on Capitol Hill went after Attorney General William Barr with both barrels Thursday, accusing him of acting more like President Trump's personal attorney than an attorney general.

In his 22-minute press conference, Barr told reporters that Mueller found that Russia did indeed attempt to interfere in the election, but he found no evidence that President Trump or Trump campaign officials colluded in those efforts. Barr also concluded that the report did not prove Trump obstructed justice.

Democrats reacted with "shock and rage" to Barr's assertion that “there was, in fact, no collusion,” accusing him of "using talking points that could have been written by the White House," according to Politico.

In tweet after angry tweet, Democrats demonstrated that they aren't ready to "move on" from the Russia collusion hoax even as their precious narrative collapsed before their eyes.

“Now that President @realDonaldTrump's campaign press conference is over: It's time for Congress and the American public to see the #MuellerReport,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) wrote on Twitter.

Added Speaker Nancy Pelosi: "AG Barr has confirmed the staggering partisan effort by the Trump Admin to spin public’s view of the #muellerreport – complete with acknowledgment that the Trump team received a sneak preview," Pelosi tweeted.

"It’s more urgent than ever that Special Counsel Mueller testify before Congress," she said.

In his statement to reporters, Barr was adamant in his defense of Trump, saying the president faced an “unprecedented situation” and acted with the “sincere belief” that Mueller’s probe was undermining his presidency.

“Criminal acts are still criminal even if you're ‘frustrated’ when you commit them,” Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.), a Judiciary member and former police chief, tweeted in response.

Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.), another member of the Judiciary panel, added that Barr was acting as "the president's personal attorney rather than as the highest-ranking law enforcement official in the nation."

Army announces 9-day closure of West Bank, Gaza for Passover holiday

Checkpoints, crossings to remain shuttered from Friday morning until next Saturday, except for humanitarian and other special cases

The Israeli army on Thursday announced it would impose a nine-day closure on the West Bank and Gaza for the entirety of Passover, as is standard practice during festivals and holidays.

The closure will begin overnight Thursday-Friday, starting at 12 a.m., and last until 12 a.m. Saturday, April 27.

Exceptions will be made for humanitarian and other outstanding cases, but will require the approval of the Defense Ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.

Passover begins on Friday evening and ends next Friday night.

The closure will affect the tens of thousands of Palestinians who legally work in Israel every day, most of them in construction and maintenance.

Israeli citizens will still be permitted to move between the West Bank and Israel.

Closures for Jewish and Israeli holidays are a routine procedure, intended both to prevent terror attack attempts in Israel during the holiday period and to allow Israeli security officials, who operate the crossings, to celebrate the festival.

Report: Christopher Steele Refusing To Meet With DOJ Inspector General, Which Is Scrutinizing Ex-Spy’s Dossier

Christopher Steele declined to meet with the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General, which is reportedly poised to cast doubt on the veracity of some of the former British spy’s infamous anti-Trump dossier.

Steele declined the inspector general’s request on the grounds that it would be improper for him to take part “in an internal Justice Department investigation as a foreign national and former British intelligence agent,” Politico reported Wednesday.

The explanation is somewhat ironic given that Steele, a former MI6 officer, provided his anti-Trump research to the FBI as well as to Bruce Ohr, a Justice Department official.

Witnesses who have met with the inspector general’s office told Politico that they got the impression that investigators are “going to try and deeply undermine” Steele’s work.

The investigation is also likely “to cast doubt on the veracity of the information Steele provided about [Carter] Page that the FBI included in its application for a [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] warrant,” according to Politico.

Michael Horowitz, the inspector general, opened an investigation on March 28, 2018 into whether the FBI abused the FISA by relying on Steele’s dossier to obtain spy warrants against Page. Horowitz’s investigation is expected to wrap up in May or June, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Steele was hired in June 2016 by Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm that was investigating the Trump campaign on behalf of the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign.

He produced 17 memos dated between June 20, 2016 and Dec. 13, 2016 that alleged a “well-developed conspiracy” between Trump associates and the Kremlin.

Steele’s sources fingered Page as one link to the Kremlin.

Republican lawmakers have investigated the FBI’s handling of the dossier, which they note was unverified when used to obtain the warrants to spy on Page.

Steele has reportedly been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller, but he has refused to meet with congressional committees, including the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Says She Will Sign Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s Impeachment Resolution

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has announced that she will be signing an impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump that was introduced by Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

The freshman Congresswoman had quoted a tweet from the Washington Post which highlighted a portion of the report stating that “Mueller’s team couldn’t rule out that Trump criminally obstructed justice” and that the decision would be left to Congress to determine what to do next.

Ocasio-Cortez commented that as it is Congress’ responsibility to investigate obstruction, she would be signing on to the resolution.

“Mueller’s report is clear in pointing to Congress’ responsibility in investigating obstruction of justice by the President,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “It is our job as outlined in Article 1, Sec 2, Clause 5 of the US Constitution,” the progressive lawmaker added. “As such, I’ll be signing onto @RashidaTlaib’s impeachment resolution.”

The impeachment resolution was introduced by Tlaib last month and called for an investigation by the House Judiciary Committee to look for impeachable offenses by President Trump.

Ocasio-Cortez recently told Yahoo! that she has many reasons she supports impeaching the president.

“I think you could reach in a bag and pull so many things out that are impeachable of this president. I support impeaching this president,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

92-Year-Old Ex-Nazi Camp Guard Accused of Helping Kill 5,000 Prisoners at Age 17

On Thursday, a German chief prosecutor charged a 92-year-old man from Hamburg identified by the German outlet Die Welt as Bruno Dey with assisting in the murders of 5,230 Jewish prisoners during his tenure as a guard at the Stutthof concentration camp during World War II.

Dey was 17 years old at the time he committed the crimes he stands accused of, and will be tried as a juvenile by the court.

According to Die Welt, Dey was a member of the SS, the Nazi paramilitary organization that in large part directly enacted and oversaw the regime's genocidal goals. He served as a watchman on a guard tower at the Stutthof camp near the city of Danzig, now Gdansk, in Poland, for eight months toward the tail end of World War II, between 1944 and 1945.

Dey, who is a baker, claims that he never supported Nazi ideology and has expressed regret that so many innocent lives were lost during the war. He has said he played no direct role in any of the deaths at the camps, though he admitted witnessing emaciated bodies and people being led to gas chambers, obviously to be executed. Dey is accused of being an accessory to murder for his work in the camp.

Dey has been described by prosecuting officials as "a little wheel in the machinery of murder," AP reports.

Stutthof served as a concentration camp starting in 1942, and started functioning as an extermination camp two years later. At this time, most prisoners who arrived at the camp were divided into two camps — the healthy, and the old or sick. The former were forced into labor tasks, while the latter were killed in the multiple gas chambers at the campsite. The camp housed 110,000 Jewish prisoners at the time; 65,000 of them died there.

Last year, German authorities charged another former SS guard, now 95 years old, who had worked at the Mauthausen camp in northern Austria from 1944 to 1945. He was accused of helping put to death 36,000 Jews at the camp.

The SS, or Schutzstaffel, started as a small protective unit for the senior leadership of the Nazi party. After Heinrich Himmler, a fervent supporter of Adolf Hitler's anti-Semitic ideology, took over the SS in 1929, he expanded its membership to more than 250,000 operatives.

During the Nuremberg trials of Nazi leaders following World War II, the SS was declared a criminal organization for committing crimes against humanity.
