1st & 10 on the 40
So the football metaphor means the last two years have been about POTUS returning the kick-off (the collusion lie) and dodging every tackle. He ran to sideline to set up the next series of plays. Now POTUS is 1st and 10 on their 40 yard line and ready with an entire set of plays to carry America into the end zone. They don't have any plays that can defeat what is coming. It's going to be a rout because they CANNOT defend against the lies they have told any longer. They are now playing 'not to lose' and will turn on each other.
Also, just because my autism kicked in, here's another theory on the 1st and 10 on the 40 drop:
Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States. So I looked up the 1st and 10th speeches he gave as President. Although I doubt they have any tie to the Q drop, they're still worth reading. See links below to view.
