interesting fact about the Redwood: it will have what are known as 'burls' which, when the tree falls over, will grow into a new tree out of the dead part of the rotton or falled-over tree.

Well it's been almost exactly six years since that crazy night when the Statees went nuts and drove up Massachusetts avenue going 70 miles an hour, sirens blaring. And the news was, of course, about Sean.

not a redwood sappling?

looks like redwood, anon.

It's in a redwood forest part of the world. the hemlock is similar, a bit tighter with the needles, and they are a different green.

plus they are more perpendicular to the stem. The redwood needles seem to be about 45 degrees and the hemlock about 15.

plant identification is tricky. but to me, it doesn't look like hemlock, but redwood. but who know, it might be something else entirely.

really looks like it's redwood saplings.

as a sapling they might be very similar.
