Pages 111 to 120: Mueller Report Summary

In one sentence: This section is mostly about how Trump Jr. was contacted by muh Russians to meet and learn about some negative information pertaining to HRC.

Broken down:

Agalarov, Russian real-estate developer w/ties to Putin was connected to DJT and “worked w/Trump in connection w/the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow and a potential Trump Moscow real-estate project”. (p. 110-111)

Agalarov used an intermediary to communicate w/DJT once GEOTUS was campaigning for the presidency —Goldstone

Through Goldstone, Agalorov expressed interest in supporting him through “important friends and colleagues, especially with reference to US/Russian relations”. (p. 111)

This support also included info “that might interest the Trumps involved Hillary Clinton” (p. 111).

Natalia Veselnitskaya (“V”) was brought into the picture in reference to some of the info (some redacted). (Top of p. 112)

Her lobbying & testimony RE Magnitsky Act, Putin’s distaste for the outcome of it “purely political, unfriendly act”, & the sanctions, travel restrictions on Russian officials, halted adoption of Russian children by US citizens are referenced.

V’s legal work included defense of Katsyv, “a civil-forfeiture action alleging the laundering of proceeds from the fraud exposed by Magnitsky”. (p. 112)

Goldstone reached out to Trump Jr on Agalarov’s behalf to ask to meet w/offer to Trump campaign w/“some official docs and info that wld incriminate HRC and her dealing w/Russia”. (P. 113)

Trump Jr agreed to meet. GEOTUS reported not to have known about it.

Trump Jr, Kushner, Manafort met w/the group incl. Vaselnitskaya.

In a lunch preparing for the meeting at Trump Tower several participants reported that “Vaselnitskaya showed Akhmetshin a document alleging financial misconduct by Bill Browder and the Ziff brothers (Americans w/business in Russia), and those individuals subsequently making political donations to the DNC.” (p. 117)

During the meeting at Trump Tower, Trump Jr asked V how payments cld be tied specifically to Clinton Campaign, and V said she couldn’t trace money once it entered the US. (p. 118)

During the meeting, Kushner sent iMessage to Manafort stating “waste of time” & sent 2 emails to assistants w/requests that they call him to get him out of the meeting & he left.

When V was interviewed by the press she denied reason for meeting, & had not “referred to any derogatory info concerning the Clinton Campaign

when she met with Trump Campaign officials”. (p. 119)

Attempts were made by Goldstone to arrange more meetings. Kaveladze reported to Agalarov that the meeting “about the Magnitsky Act had been a waste of time because it was not with lawyers and they were ‘preaching to the wrong crowd’”. V was present at the time of this reporting. (p. 120)

The press got wind of the meeting, Goldstone was apologetic to Agalorov as the “relationship with ‘mr T has been thrown down the drain’”.

Grand Jury redactions are present throughout this section.

>Mueller no talky bout dat?

Not in the 10 pps I read. Sounds like they set "V" up as an asset to use bait of "truth" re Browder, Magnitsky Act.

All the talk about DJT being a former FBI informant makes me wonder if DJT, JR ended up being one that informed FBI about what was shared. And then bad actors tried to use it against him (Russian meddling to attack US presidential campaign), and what they were accusers of is what they are guilty of.

Funny to use truth as "truth" in that statement. They used truth of malfeasance (Browder, Magnitsky Act) as bait.

Agree. Just very warped to read it in minute detail again - all the pieces together. And we've been finding those pieces over 2 years, much of the time spread out.
