It's a bug. The speed looks impossible because it is very close to the camera but looks like it's near the plane so the apparent speed looks huge.

Fair enough I reckon. I had to (lb) it, so benefit of doubt anon.
BTW it doesn't appear out of nowhere. By 17:57 it is at the bottom middle heading toward the top left. The camera is panning to the right so it's a bit blurry, but it loops around and becomes clear when it's motion matches the panning. It must come closer to the camera at that stage.
But yeah, my opinion, it's in the foreground, not near the plane.
