Last fall Moreno/Ecuador Embassy made a very public statement complaining about Assange’s cat and that it wasn’t being cared for properly. Last week after Assange’s very public arrest and removal from the embassy there was a lot of questions about the cat. Numerous articles say that the cat was removed from the embassy last fall and is now safe with Assange’s family. I could not find exactly which family or where they lived. If it is family in Australia then that would coincide with the timeline of how long takes to import a pet cat into Australia. My guess is that Julian knew he would be leaving the embassy during April 2019 and started the process of exporting his cat to family in Australia. This would ,ean that possibly Moreno is actually helping Julian. If Julian suddenly decided to start the several month process of sending his cat to Australia it could raise red flags. Moreno gave him the “reason” very publicly. That way no red flags raised that there was travel plans in the future for Julian.
