You have been accused of robbing a bank by 17 different law enforcement agencies. You have never even shoplifted a candy bar. You turned yourself in and made statements of your innocence. You also allowed them to search your premises and interview all your friends and family. You know you were with me at the time of the bank robbery. You call me to ask if I will testify on your behalf as to your whereabouts that day. They have your phones tapped without you knowing and record that phone call to me. You don't know what kind of evidence they claim to have on you to accuse you of robbing a bank. You hire a lawyer and explain your circumstances. You go to court and find out there were bad people hired to lie about you robbing the bank. You are found not guilty. But since you had questioned about the hired liars and wanted to know more about who would do this to you, you are accused of obstructing the case against you. Sound silly? That's what has happened to our President, except they accused him of treason instead of robbery which is punishable by death.
