Visa : CEO Takes on Chairman Role
Visa Inc. Chief Executive Alfred Kelly has added the title of board chairman, a move the company said would given "consistent leadership and a unified voice."
Mr. Kelly, who has held the company's top post since December 2016, succeeds Bob Matschullat, who will continue to serve as chairman of the board's finance committee.
John F. Lundgren, who led Stanley Black & Decker Inc. and joined Visa's board in 2017, has been elected lead independent director.
The changes, which the company disclosed Friday in a securities filing, were effective April 16.
