The long-anticipated U.S. peace proposal for solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will not be unveiled before the Muslim holiday of Ramadan is over in June, President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner confirmed.

Kushner told some 100 foreign ambassadors in Washington on Wednesday that the plan would require an “open mind” from both sides – both of whom will be forced to make compromises, according to source cited by Reuters.

The source quoted Kushner as saying that the “the plan will require concessions from both sides but won’t jeopardize the security of Israel.”

Mother furious after daughter too young to get vaccinated diagnosed with measles in Israel

An 8-month-old baby in Israel has been diagnosed with the measles amid outbreaks around the world widely blamed on the anti-vaccine movement.

CNN reported Friday that Shira Goldschmidt, the daughter of Fainy Sukenik, was diagnosed recently with the disease, which can be deadly if not caught and treated by medical professionals, especially in infants.

Sukenik wrote on Facebook that she blamed misinformation spread by activists opposed to vaccines for the spread of the disease, which was once thought to have been eradicated in the Western world.

"It wasn't just dots on one part of her body. They were everywhere: inside her mouth, between her fingers, in between her toes," Sukenik said in an interview with CNN. "I'm an experienced mother, and never ever have I seen something like this. I was really scared."

"I'm so angry and so frustrated," she told CNN. "On Facebook, I wrote to the anti-vaxers, 'you are hurting our kids because of your choice.' "

William Weld, is calling the president a "one-man crime wave" the day after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian election meddling.

Mueller's redacted report, which was released Thursday, found no evidence of conspiracy between Trump's 2016 campaign and Moscow, but listed several "episodes" of possible obstruction of justice, including Trump ordering subordinates to shutdown or stymie the special counsel's office.

“This man is a one-man crime wave,” Weld said in an interview with MSNBC that aired Friday. “He instructed senior legal officials, senior national security, senior intelligence officials to lie, he actively sought out and suborned perjury. That is obstruction of justice."

A mob of teenagers numbering in the hundreds flooded downtown Chicago on Thursday, attacking people, stealing from stores, and erupting in fistfights. Police struggled to stop them, reports indicate.

The teens first began their unruly behavior in the city’s Millennium Park off of Michigan Avenue, but once police arrived, the teens fanned out toward other shopping districts, such as State Street and Lake, Chicago’s CBS affiliate reported.

Some reports noted that police were deferential to the kids, and only a few arrests were made, but the teens were defiant and violent.

“They work their butt off all night long, and they are so tolerant of these kids who are just so disrespectful, cursing at them, saying the things that they say, and we have the upmost tolerance of that,” Chicago Police Chief Fred Waller said of his officers.

The Chicago Police Department (CPD) deployed 200 officers to handle the roughly 500-member mob of teens.
