That weird shape under water with straight edges off the Long Beach Bay has had me curious. (See Graphic). I thought that it might be a military base. But, it looks like it could be the following…

The disposal site for dredging operations of Anaheim Bay- Naval Weapons Station at Seal Beach. Anaheim Bay.

The harbor being dredged since world war II and deposited there. Its called LA-2 Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS)
