Dad shoots burglar 6 times who broke into daughter’s room and undressed
A Kentucky man broke into his neighbor’s house, but didn’t steal anything, instead undressing in a 12-year-old girl’s room.
Donald Oliver, 38, was arrested Sunday morning shortly after breaking in through a window belonging to the room of his neighbor’s 12-year-old daughter, undressing, and refusing to leave the home, prompting the homeowner to shoot him six times, WLKY News reported.
Tina Burton, the girl’s mother, said she had never met Oliver. “He got undressed in my daughter’s room. Like, what was your intentions? … You are sick,” she said, describing his actions.
Oliver reportedly left the girl’s room in his underwear and headed for the kitchen when he was intercepted by Burton’s boyfriend, Ali Bracey.
Bracey said, “I told him to get out, and he didn’t want to move. And he growled at me.”

Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, YouTube Working on ‘Global Censorship Database’
Social media platforms and Big Tech companies have been slowly working to censor content on their platforms more efficiently.
Emma Llanso, Director of Free Expression at the Center for Democracy and Technology, wrote in an op-ed for Wired that the response to the New Zealand mass shooting in March brought the internet to a terrifying reality. Tech companies have only emphasized more “increasingly centralized and opaque censorship of the global internet.”
Llanso pointed out that Facebook’s announcement detailing plans of countering terrorism is already taking steps towards automatic censorship. The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, composed of Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and YouTube, was launched in 2017 to help sites regulate themselves and remove content that could potentially be illegal. However, the forum has “a shared database of hashes of files identified by the participating companies to be “extreme and egregious” terrorist content.”
Facebook wrote in a blog post on March 18 that it was adding more content to this database. The company stressed “industry cooperation” and wrote that it helpfully “identified abusive content” on other sites.
But Facebook was not alone: Microsoft President Brad Smith wrote that he was interested in building a “safe search engine” that “blocked the accessing of such content at the point when people attempt to view and download it.” Smith emphasized “healthier online environments,” and said that “it doesn’t help when online interaction normalizes in cyberspace standards of behavior that almost all of us would consider unacceptable in the real world.”
Llanso wrote that the hash database suffered from a complete lack of transparency and accountability. “No one outside of the consortium of companies knows what is in the database,” she said. “People whose posts are removed or accounts disabled on participating sites aren’t even notified if the hash database was involved.”

United Constitutional Patriots Group Catches Migrant Caravan Illegally Invading U.S. In New Mexico
A group of America-loving patriots successfully caught a giant caravan of some 357 migrants illegal invading our southern border on Monday near Sunland Park, New Mexico.
The group "detained" the migrants legally and lawfully (basically through a bluff) until border patrol could arrive.
A message posted on the United Constitutional Patriots' page after the migrants were detained Monday night stated: "This group was so huge we won't have an accurate count until the BP is finished processing them. This needs to stop!!!!! Build the wall."
The video shows Border Patrol agents as they apprehend members of the group of migrants that crossed into the U.S. Some of the migrants seen in the video are overheard coughing and asking for water. When asked why they entered the US, some of the migrants said they are seeking asylum.

Border agent in AZ admits to helping smuggle 1,000s of pounds of marijuana
A Border Patrol agent in Douglas pleaded guilty to using his position to help smuggle thousands of pounds of marijuana.
Jose Antonio Yanez faces up to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to two drug-smuggling charges and one bribery charge, according to a plea agreement filed April 10 in U.S. District Court in Tucson.
To make up for the loss of his “honest services” as an agent while working in Douglas and Naco, Yanez agreed to re-pay the Border Patrol his salary and other pay for the years 2014-2016, worth $340,000, according to the plea agreement. He also agreed to pay a $16,000 fine for the bribes he accepted.
As part of his role in the smuggling conspiracy, Yanez used his position as the operator of Border Patrol surveillance cameras in March 2014 to divert attention away from 18 people carrying 1,000 pounds of marijuana in backpacks. He was paid $250 per backpacker, according to the plea agreement.
In June 2015, Yanez admitted he “purposely vacated my area of responsibility so that vehicles laden with marijuana could cross the border,” according to the plea agreement.

First Navy SEAL team’s last living member turns 94
On Thursday, the last living member of the original Navy SEAL team turned 94-years-old.
Bill Dawson was part of the “frogmen” team in 1943, which was the first team ever of the Naval Combat Demolition Units, known today as the Navy SEALs, NBC 4 reported.
Dawson joined the Navy at the age of 17 during World War II and fought until 1945 when the Japanese surrendered
“Knowing today what I helped start developed into what it is today. It’s one of the greatest outfits in the world,” Dawson said.
The “frogmen” were the swimmers that revolutionized what today’s Navy SEALs have become. Their job was to jump out of small boats and swim along the beaches that were occupied by the enemy. They would observe every single thing and retain it to memory, making sure that nothing was in the way of a safe landing, We Are the Mighty explained.
If there were such obstacles, they had to destroy or dismantle them. The frogmen units were called “Underwater Demolition Teams.” They looked like frogs because all they could wear during these missions was shorts, snorkels, fins, and swim masks.
Dawson wrote a book called “Before They Were SEALs They Were Frogs,” which shares his exclusive experiences during the war.

Dutch politician wants halal beach in The Hague – says “Muslims feel uncomfortable with scantily clad, ugly people”
Party of the Unity politician Arnold van Doorn demands that the Dutch government opens a beach area which should be “halal”, Jihad Watch reports.
According to Van Doorn the Dutch beach needs to have a non-degenerative area for Muslims where people are not allowed to walk naked, since Muslims feel “unpleasant with scantily clad, ugly people”.
Muslims don’t feel at home on most beaches, he says. “Not only Muslims, but also many other residents feel uncomfortable with the appearance of very scantily dressed and often anesthetically designed beachgoers”, he writes to the city council of The Hague.
“In addition, women in particular indicate that they are increasingly confronted with unwanted allusions and advances by people of the opposite sex during beach visits.”
He believes that The Hague should therefore consider whether it is possible to designate part of the beach for Muslims.
After all, there is also a nudist beach for a small group of enthusiasts, so why not design a part of the beach for the Muslim community, Van Doorn argues.
Halal beach resorts already exist in seaside resorts in Turkey and Indonesia, among others. On halal beaches, Muslims could enjoy the sun according to their religious regulations. For example, men and women sunbathe separately on Lombok.
Van Doorn came to the Party for Freedom (Geert Wilders’ anti-Islam party) in 2010 in the city council of The Hague, and in 2013 – after coverting to Islam – he switched to the Islamic Party for Unity.
In 2016 he received a work sentence for selling drugs to minors and the possession of a prohibited alarm gun.

The foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, on met with the French foreign minister Jean-Yves le Drian in Bratislava to discuss issues regarding the future, security and competitiveness of the European Union.
At a joint press conference with his counterparts after the event, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said the most important objectives for Hungary regarding the future of the EU are reviving the bloc’s competitiveness and security.
“We, central Europeans, have done extremely well in these aspects… so we are justified in making propositions,” Szijjarto said. Growth in central European countries has outstripped the EU average and its policies focusing on citizens’ security have succeeded in stemming the inflow of migrants, he said.
The bloc’s competitiveness can only be maintained through a robust inner competition, Szijjarto said. Large countries should therefore refrain from passing regulations curbing the competitiveness of central and eastern European members, he added.
One such regulation would be tax harmonisation, which would lead to steep tax hikes in those countries, he said. Thanks to their strong financial and budgetary discipline, CEE countries can afford lower taxes, he said.
It is “unacceptable” that France should aim to “pass on” the effects of its “irresponsible tax policies” to Europe, he said.

Mistaken active shooter report puts Spangdahlem Air Base on lockdown during base exercise
A report of an active shooter at Spangdahlem Air Base on Thursday that prompted a base lockdown and sent airmen hiding under desks turned out to be a false alarm.
Lockdown procedures — including gate closures — were implemented for about two hours after the 52nd Security Forces Squadron responded to reports of noises resembling gunshots at about 9:10 a.m., the base said in a statement released shortly after the lockdown was lifted.
A sweep of the base found nothing of concern, the statement said, noting all personnel were secure. The lockdown was lifted at about 11:10 a.m.
Officials could not immediately say whether the report of gunshot-sounding noises was related to a base readiness exercise happening this week, a spokeswoman said after the all clear was sounded.
A message about the exercise posted on Spangdahlem’s official Facebook site last week noted that it would involve simulated detonations along with increased flying operations, siren sounds and voice announcements.
