not sure what you're pointing out here, but the first thing that jumps out at me is the rifles. Every other man in this photo has a different rifle. Now that is not uncommon, you have snipers and spotters, with the spotters equipped with marksman rifles. However, what are the spotters equipped with in this photo? It's not an M38, because all the shell casings on the ground are .308. It's not an M39, because the action is different. What is it? I shall have to dig.
