While there are no known Masonic connections throughout my family, while doing research on one of my relatives, I came across a mention of said relative participating in a public Masonic ceremony as a child. The mention was in a digitized copy of a 1916 book called, The Eastern Star, which I'm guessing was a yearbook for regional Mason activities. It's filled with all manner of juicy (for public consumption) insights into their thinking and goals of that time. Dig the nick nack gifts with lovely symbology. Who is that emblazoned in the crossed sword image? Lucifer?
