History repeating itself?

Think Moses leading the Israelite's out of Egypt.

Throughout the whole trip what did they snivel about? All the 'great things" Egypt gave them…"stuff".

They wanted to return to their "slavery".

That slavery gave them housing, food, jobs. Pharaoh told them what to do, when to do it, and how. That is what they wanted.

The entire group of adults had to literally 'die out' and their children were the ones that got to cross the Jordan into the Promised land.

Is this going to be any different?

"Nothing new under the sun".
