I once attended a Passover meal at a friend's house. I was a little disappointed to discover that the Jewish family I was visiting did not exactly follow the traditions I had read about in the Bible or seen in the TV movie "The 10 Commandments" … we basically just had a nice meal (not even a prayer said beforehand).
In fact, having just returned from Church about an hour ago from the Easter Vigil Mass, one of our Bible readings was on the festival of Passover.
To a Christian, the Passover is a foreshadowing of Jesus, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world through His passion and death on the cross.
Festival of first fruits … what comes to my mind first is that Christ was the first to rise from the dead.
The Day of Pentecost was the coming down of the Holy Spirit on the apostles.
Thank you for asking, Anon.
