They determined that the file were copied to a flash drive at some point, not necessarily at the time they were removed from the DNC. The files could have been copied out at any speed and then put on a flash drive and it would have produce that exact same forensic signature.
I like Bill Binney. I trust ill Binney. But I'm annoyed that he's overselling what the forensic evidence means.
