Your post dredged up an old memory of mining towns where mine owners issued "store credit" where the miners could buy provisions clothing footwear etc. in the store the mine owner also owned. At ridiculously inflated prices of course.. I think it was in North America when the gold rush was on. Prolly were all affiliated with the banking joos too

Bingo. Back 200 years ago everyone heated with wood & dumped ashes from fireplaces or woodstoves back onto their vegetable plots, remineralizing the soil in the process. Now food is grown in chemically fertilized mineral depleted soils that never lay fallow & result is poor nutritional value crap veggies that are like eating cardboard
