Senator Walsh is an ignorant jackass and a disgrace to the Republican party. She has a really bad week ahead with the press and the nursing associations. They've begun attacking her already, and (as expected) the media keeps highlighting the fact that she is a Republican.
I worked as a provider in hospitals for years. During that time I have worked with many nurses. In acute care, they never seem to have enough nurses and typically give each of them too many patients to attend to at a time. No one who works in those hospitals always has time to take a full break, or to stop and take even a quick restroom break, much less to sit around playing cards. (In 2019, who plays cards btw?) Patients are very sick and in pain and always complaining about something or asking for something else. Family members always complaining too. Its hard work. The cheap and greedy suits who own/run the hospitals are all arrogant assholes. All they care about is the bottom line. They need to spend more money and hire staff to take care of the patients instead of forcing nurses to work overtime.
The nurses get little respect already. Its a shame that a profession that is predominantly women gets even more disrespect from this clueless bitch—who claims to be all about empowerment of women. The nurses in Washington should mobilize to vote her fat ass out of office. The sad thing about it is that she will likely be replaced by a Democrat.
