What are the odds that NSA/MILINTEL didn't already have an anonymous presence on the chans? During the 2016 elections and prior?
/cfg/, /ewo/, and Pizzagate at large were such large-scale and coordinated ops that I wouldn't doubt we were all acting as assets for MILINTEL during them.
And before that, we had FBIanon, multiple MAJOR leaks of classified intel (TRIDENT, the Ghouls and Swan Lake, etc.) on the chans, and several major ops.
I'm not kidding, they've got a file on every single one of us.
And the sheer level of scale and planning that went into The Plan is just flat-out impressive, and I sincerely believe that "Russian bots" is probably referring to us and blaming Anons on MUH RUSHA.
We are the media now.
I think it actually goes further than that.
If you go back to Obama-era /pol/, especially during the peak of the "zombie apocalypse/prepper" fad in our cultural consciousness, Anon came across as a fairly-dangerous and radical element. There was no assumption that anybody on the inside was /ourguy/. There was no faith in the idea that the system could be fixed, or that it could work, or that elections even mattered. People were gearing up for everything to burn. To hunker down and finally fight it out.
There are plenty of us who probably would have been radicalized under different circumstances. Plenty of us who honestly probably belong on a list and who could have been dangerous.
I've heard that Q was meant to pacify and placate radical elements, but what if that's only partially true? What if it was keeping an eye on those elements from the beginning? What if it essentially recruited them?
I dunno. I remember folks passing around prepper manuals, I.E.D. infographics, manuals for sabotage, etc.
And in 2016, a ton of people got access to actual CIA mind control manuals through /pol/.
Gets my noggin joggin'.
I'm saying that during the 2016 election cycle, "meme warfare" actively made use of tactics and techniques that originated in the alphabet soup agencies. Instructional and manuals were passed around en-masse in threads like /cfg/'s meme division. Granted, those same resources had been circulating among anons for years, but TONS of people probably read and made use of the in '16.
Strong case could be made that it was a PSYOP, but only because somebody had shown Anon how to PSYOP. It wasn't the Russians, but Anon did not magically manifest the ability to PSYOP harder and better than a multi-billion-dollar global mass media empire.
Also, food for thought, The Plan likely had 2 options: 1. Stage a military coup to seize control from whichever cabal puppet was in the WH or 2. Win legitimately, seize control of the NSA database, expose the criminals, and arrest them all. Went with 2 for obvious reasons.
That said, imagine the Hillary timeline.
