Ah, I thought it was a CG photo-reconstruction of the door, but I think you're right. I think it's painted on. Peculiar.
I thought the photos had some CGI added to reconstruct parts of buildings, especially the "fake" wooden door to the temple. But another anon speculates the door is actually PAINTED on the building (which means it's not CG). Other photo elements look too pristine to be anything but CG recreations of the buildings…but unsure.

Could these island photos possibly be EARLY construction photos rather than photos taken after Epstein was arrested and island shut down?
The vegetation is so dried out and seems less developed. Maybe neglected, but maybe earlier in the its history?
Yet the top of the dome-temple building looks old and weathered, whereas the paint job looks so pristine. Unless this structure was there before the rest of construction began?
Wondering…
Now I'm really wondering if the latest Epstein Island photos are actually older, taken during the CONSTRUCTION, rather than recently taken during the destruction of the island.
The paint and ground-tiles of the gold-dome temple are too pristine. If the gold-dome came down in 2017, it would be hard to take it down without marring the paint-job.
The gold-dome temple (elevator shaft) might have been there longer and was refurbished during this construction process to ADD the gold dome?
Does this stack of bricks in this pic suggests construction, rather than destruction?
I think that's what a wall looks like DURING construction, BEFORE you put the light fixtures in (generally the lights are added LAST). The stains suggest the holes in the wall for the lights have been waiting for a few weeks. The lights were probably added later.
What makes you think those tiles are faded? They look like they are a different color tile altogether. Compare to the adjacent tiles which are darker and not faded at all.
Meanwhile, the stain on the wall is not fading. It emanates from the hole in the wall where the light would go. When you make a hole in stucco, the weather will cause streaks to come out of the hole because it's not sealed with paint.
I can't say for sure, but I'm thinking these photos are construction photos.
Even the crate that sits next to the temple looks like it's to INSTALL things (electrical?) rather than to dismantle things.
