I really learned this Lesson the hard way. Really hard.
I have NO tolerance, starting with myself, as I used to when I was a young man, for BS or evil or any of it. I've had this discussion with a LOT of friends, and we're all 40+ now, so we have some miles, and we all see how we gave in and went along, and how it ate us up. But that's nothing new either. We Rise or Fall to the Company we keep. Starting with our thoughts and feelings and expectations, which are our constant company.
And with the exception of the line about not needing anyone pulling on heart strings or commitments (I believe in Love with All my heart and I Hope to truly fall in love with a brilliant and deserving woman someday, after all) This song right here sums it up for me.

Prayers are the Key.
It's interesting that the Disciples were always asking to be taught how to Pray. Now, I didn't grow up reading the bible, as religious people freaked me out (And my hometown is mostly nothing but freaks of one sort or another, so these folks were extra wack, God Bless them all) and I had this incredible prayer life and Relationship with My Father, whom I was taught was in Heaven, and since I didn't have a dad, and wouldn't be having one, from as early as I can remember, age two and on, the whole scene bothered me.
But…I really got into bible study and most Especially the Gospels and NT, Proverbs, Psalms, and the "minor prophets", and there were a LOT of things that struck me. One being, if Prayer is just asking for something, or thanking God, both wonderful ways to offer Prayer, why did they have to keep asking??
And HOW did Peter, even though he was still "living by the sword", walk on water??
And HOW did Saul, who was reborn Paul, go from being a mass murderer (what a life THAT character had, wow) to healing sick people by mailing them pieces of his cloth??
And why would The Christ say that we would do "Greater things" than Him??
And WHY and HOW was Yeshua blocked from performing "miracles" (The day to day for Him) in certain towns due to "disbelief of the Peoples"?????????
That one gets me. Jesus was stopped from healing?? Due to what I guess the hippies would call "vibes" or maybe "collective conscious", or what WE seem to Proudly call Our "HiveMind".

There is debate about exactly WHY Yeshua couldn't/wouldn't/ or didn't perform Miracles in those towns, but I did a deep dig with a few very educated bible scholar types, and as with anything rooted in the Truth, it ALWAYS comes back to the SIMPLE things. For whatever reason, a LACK OF FAITH, led to a LACK of.
I doubt the King was STOPPED physically, as in, and Play along with me here, as maybe a crappy group of "Dark Side" padwans could NEVER stop Yoda (Could they?) and this is The Son of God, not a movie puppet, but….
Then, that opens other doors or inQuiry. Clearly Jesus Healed a LOT of People. And I really love the Q book, And The Books of Thomas and Enoch and The Essene Gospel as well, which furthers, IMO, the case that HE IS WHO HE SAID HE WAS, and he healed the Faithless all the time.
But there weren't many, or any depending on your POV, miracles there due to "Lack of Faith". Okay, so they somehow stopped The Christ from being the Christ. And what IS "Faith"?? What is "Hope". What is "Love"??
I really believe moving forward, it would behoove us to break these down into smaller elements so that we can figure out how to use our powers to further create the worlds we want. /OUR/ Father's House is to a House of Prayer. So let's start there. We need LOTS of Prayers.

This is the Key to everything IMO. That's why these fucking bastards HAVE to break us young, and I have a few working flow lines on how it's done, and by the time most children are 10 nowadays, and I have lots of children and have worked with youth my whole life in one way or another, they have a Dystopian viewpoint. Even Christians were taught to "Pray for Jesus to Come back", with the idea that He was going to chop up all his enemies, which I don't know about, seems sorta unlike Him, I think it will be more like a button is pushed, and POOF!! Fast and Swift.
Either way, based on my gatherings, at LEAST 85% of people I've met in my life feel like the world is going to hell, that you're damned if you do and damned if you don't, the world sucks, people suck, murphy's "law", and on and on with the undercover dystopian viewpoints, and let's not forget the law of the jungle and dog eat dog Lord of The Flies "culture" that permeates almost all schools and businesses.
Then, with THOSE beliefs and thoughts and feelings, NO matter the "brave faces" and masks that people wear, what kind of Reality are they and WE together going to create?? It's FAR easier to stomp out 1,000,000 sprouts without any tools than it is to take down even ONE Oak tree.
The BattleField is in The Mind.
The Targets are Children.
IMO TRUTH & COURAGE are the Cardinal Virtues of Love (And I am open to suggestions for more, but that's my working list)
So if you don't LOVE Truth, and if You don't display courage, then you don't know Love.
I could go on. I know you know most all of this, and more (So nice not being the smartest person in the room for once, and have a chance to be nurtured and learn from Frens) but I'm Convinced through and through that it is the SIMPLE things, Simple, not usually Easy (Life was made for Greatness, Not comfort) but SIMPLE.
