There was a time in this country a motivated person could work their way through college and graduate without any debt.

But then the dollar started losing value as college tuition prices rose. Schools also started churning out all sorts of basically worthless degrees that dumbasses think are worth going into debt to obtain.

Also along about this time educators and administrators started demanding higher salaries with better benefits. Another thing that has had an effect on costs is the building and remodeling programs most schools have undergone these past 20 years. Some of this I've witnessed first hand at our local colleges and universities working in the commercial trades. Lots of projects are done more to spend money than due to need.

This bill Warren wants passed amounts to more welfare for her liberal friends in academia.
