It's illogical to have state sponsored deaths when the primary objective is to subdue the criminal from committing a crime again.
Life in Prison without parole satisfies that requirement without having to kill.

Why do felons who have served their time still get labeled a felon post doing their time?
This prohibits from getting a job and encourages the vicious loop evermore.
Once a felon does their time, always a felon?
It's very easy to commit felonies.

It's illogical. Once a man/woman/others have served their time and a parole board sees it fit to have them reenter society, why the punishment till life does them death?
Is rehabilitation not envisioned, not possible?
