We here.
We occasionally are shown ONE B52 flying around over southern NV vicinity. I don't believe I've ever seen >1 at a time. I don't watch ADSB all that often tho. Planefag reservist.
It's loaded with comms

It's interesting how the B52s are flying in pairs. Pic
The pair B52 + K35R over KS appears to be a refuelling op - notice altitude & plane type. Now they have separated & gone their ways.
Basically if there are hostilities, a plane with capabilities similar to Nightwatch (this kind or Mercury TACAMO etc.) can command & control the nuclear forces and airborne assets.
Fuck off, Tiresias. That shit is getting old.
I doubt it. AF1 can remain airborne for a LONG time and provides the POTUS with all the capabilities he needs to communicate securely and command forces. I have no direct knowledge but I expect in that event POTUS would be in a hardened underground ops center under the WH or Mount Weather. Better ask a milfag.
