The Georgia Guidestones is a mysterious monument on which are carved ten “commandments” for a “New Age of Reason”. The first commandment? Maintaining the world population under 500 million people. Another sinister fact: the authors of what we now call the American Stonehenge are still a “mystery”… except for those in the know. We will look at the numerous features of this monument, its message calling for a New World Order and explain how it is the work of an occult secret society.

The Georgia Guidestones is an enigmatic granite monument situated in Elbert County, Georgia. Also known as the American Stonehenge, the gigantic structure is almost 20 feet high and is made of six granite slabs, weighing in total 240,000 pounds. The most astonishing detail of the monument is however not its size but the message engraved on it: Ten rules for an “Age of Reason”. These guides touch upon subjects that are associated with the “New World Order”, including massive depopulation, a single world government, the introduction of a new type of spirituality, etc. The authors of those rules have requested to remain totally anonymous and, until now, their anonymity has been duly preserved. However, this mysterious group left a text explaining the reasoning behind the rules, a text that was not discussed online before. With this new information, the purpose behind the Guidestones become very clear, leaving little room for hypotheses. The Guidestones describe the ideal world, as envisioned by occult Secret Societies. The monument is, therefore, proof of an existing link between secret societies, the world elite and the push for a New World Order.

Russia to ratify Paris climate accord in 2019 – deputy PM

Russia plans to join global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by finally ratifying the Paris climate agreement before the end of 2019, Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Gordeev said.

“We’re are preparing ratification of the document in accordance to our internal legislative proceedings. We plan to complete this work … by the end of 2019,” Gordeev told journalists.

Gordeev also praised the Paris climate deal as a “sustainable international legal base” for long-term climate regulation. According to the vice PM, Russia has an ambitious plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 75 percent of 1990 levels by 2019. Russia also aims to keep gas emissions at the same level for the next 35 years.

Russia, the world’s fifth-largest greenhouse gas emitter, signed the Paris climate agreement, which aims to limit global warming to well below 2°C, in April 2016 along with other countries. In November 2016 the country’s government introduced a road map for ratification, including assessment of economic effects of the agreements and possible changes in the energy policy.

Head of the Climate and Energy Program at WWF Russia, Alexey Kokorin, praised the plan to ratify the document soon. He told RT that it is happening because all parties such as authorities, scientists and entrepreneurs agreed on its significance.

“Russia just needs to continue carrying out its sustainable development plans, which include increasing energy efficiency or modernization of thermal power plants by 2030. This would be a very decent contribution,” said Kokorin.

Scientists: World likely won’t avoid dangerous warming mark

(AP) A team of top scientists is telling world leaders to stop congratulating themselves on the Paris agreement to fight climate change because if more isn’t done, global temperatures will likely hit dangerous warming levels in about 35 years.

Six scientists who were leaders in past international climate conferences joined with the Universal Ecological Fund in Argentina to release a brief report Thursday, saying that if even more cuts in heat-trapping gases aren’t agreed upon soon, the world will warm by another 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius) by around 2050.

That 1.8 degree mark is key because in 2009 world leaders agreed that they wanted to avoid warming of 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) above pre-industrial levels. Temperatures have already risen about 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit), so that 2 degree goal is really about preventing a rise of another degree going forward.

Examining the carbon pollution cuts and curbs promised by 190 nations in an agreement made in Paris last December, the scientists said it’s simply not enough.

China lashes out at US decision on Iran oil sanctions

Beijing has lashed out at a U.S. decision to impose sanctions on countries that buy Iranian oil, warning that it will intensify turmoil in the Middle East and in the international energy market.

“China firmly opposes the U.S. implementation of unilateral sanctions and its so-called long-armed jurisdiction,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at an April 23 press briefing.

The White House announced on April 22 that the United States will not renew exemptions granted in 2018 to five buyers of Iranian oil — top customer China as well as India, Turkey, South Korea, and Japan — pressuring importers to stop buying from Tehran.

The exemptions, or waivers, allowed the five countries to buy Iranian oil without facing U.S. sanctions. The White House has said that the decision to end them is intended to bring Iran’s oil exports — a key source of revenue for the authoritarian government — to zero.

For many Americans, going online is an important way to connect with friends and family, shop, get news and search for information. Yet today, 10% of U.S. adults do not use the internet, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of survey data.

The size of this group has changed little over the past four years, despite ongoing government and social service programs to encourage internet adoption in underserved areas. But that 10% figure is substantially lower than in 2000, when the Center first began to study the social impact of technology. That year, nearly half (48%) of American adults did not use the internet.
