The US Navy Sends A Double Aircraft Carrier Message To Iran
In a rare double-up deployment close to Iran, the U.S. Navy currently has two carrier strike groups in the Mediterranean Sea. Just a few days sail from the Arabian Sea, the Stennis and Lincoln carrier strike groups conducted joint exercises last week.
The Navy's current posture gives President Trump significantly added means of deterrence and action against Iran. It's a relevant concern in that U.S.-Iran tensions are escalating quickly.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday ended U.S. sanctions waivers on nations which import Iranian oil. Threatening the already fragile Iranian economy, that action makes the Iranian hardliners likely to escalate against America. Indeed, they're saying as much. Responding to Pompeo, the head of the revolutionary guard corps navy threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, which controls the Persian Gulf's vital energy supply highway to the world. Also evincing Iran's increasing fury, a new hardliner commanding officer of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was appointed over the weekend.
Were Iran to attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. would rely on at least two carrier strike groups to lead efforts to reopen the Strait. Those carriers would act in tandem, deploying their air wings to strike Iranian naval, air, and missile forces while supporting the carriers escort ships in defending the fleet. And unlike in a prospective conflict with China, U.S. aircraft carriers could dominate Iranian naval and air warfare forces.
Perhaps the U.S. deployment is coincidental, but I doubt it. The U.S. Navy is overstretched, especially in relation to its aircraft carriers and submarines. Its Mediterranean deployment appears calculated with an anticipated conflict in mind.

Monday in New Hampshire at a CNN town hall, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said her proposed wealth tax will pay for “universal child care for every baby zero to five, universal pre-k, universal college and knock back the student loan debt burden for 95% of our students and still have nearly a trillion dollars left over.”
Warren said, “Thanks for the question, Dena. This is the America we live in now. Basically to get a shot at a middle class life you’ve got to have some post high school technical training, two-year college, four-year college, maybe graduate school depending on who you are and what you’re ending up doing. The position of the federal government has been, good luck to you, you’re on your own. The one thing they’ve done, they have’ done is lent tens of thousands of dollars to students. It is now crushing them. So my proposal is to say, this isn’t right. What we have to do as a country is roll back that debt. So I have two parts to the proposal. Part one is that we say that we’re going to roll back student loan debt for about 95% of students who have debt. That’s part one. And part two is to make sure that we never get in this mess again on student loan debt and that is to make college universally available with free tuition and fees and to put more money into Pell grants so that students of color, so that our poorest students have real access to college and that we put real money into our historically black colleges and universities. This is about opportunity for everyone. And can we talk about how to pay for it?
She continued, “Let’s remember where this all started. I started several months ago about a wealth tax. It’s 2 cents on every dollar above the great fortunes above 50 million dollars. So your 50 millionth and first dollar you got to pay two cents on all of the dollars after that. Here’s the stunning part. If we ask the great fortunes in this country, understand, this isn’t about trying to be nasty or say you’ve done anything wrong, what it’s about is saying, look, you had a great idea, you got out there, you worked hard or you inherited well whichever one it was, but now that you’ve got that great fortune, spend just a minute to remember how you got it. You built that great business or your ancestors did using workers that all of us helped pay to educate. You got your goods to market using roads and bridges that all of us helped pay to build. You are protected in your factories with firefighters and police officers that all of us helped to pay. And we say, good for you, that you have now gotten this great fortune, but two cents. You’ve got to pay something back so everybody else gets a chance. Here is how the money works out; if we put that two cent wealth tax in place on the 75,000 largest fortunes in this country, two cents, we can do universal child care for every baby zero to five, universal pre-k, universal college and knock back the student loan debt burden for 95% of our students and still have nearly a trillion dollars left over.”

Joe Biden Reportedly Delays Wednesday Campaign Announcement
On Wednesday, former vice-president Joe Biden was expected to announce his candidacy for president with a video shot in his hometown of Scranton, followed by a rally in either Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, or Charlottesville, Virginia. But according to Edward-Isaac Dovere, the Atlantic reporter who initially broke the details of Biden’s announcement, the campaign kick-off may be delayed.
The Philadelphia Inquirer also reported on Monday that Biden would not be traveling to Charlottesville on Wednesday, and that “considerations” involving the sites in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh had been “scuttled.”
“Things are fluid,” a Biden adviser told Time on Friday. Despite that fluidity, Biden is still accepting campaign donations prior to his reportedly pushed-back announcement.
In candid remarks to Time on Friday, a former Biden aide said there’s plenty of chaos behind the scenes: “I’ve never seen anything so half-assed. They’re improvising and doing last-minute planning. The guy has been running for president since 1987 and can’t figure the basics out, like where to stand on his first day? This should make everyone very nervous.”
Politico reports that Biden could announce on Thursday, while noting that the timing is still “in flux.” The report also describes a “battle plan” for the former veep, whose campaign intends to secure key union endorsements, like the International Association of Firefighters, and to rely on Biden’s support from the party Establishment.
Despite allegations of unwanted physical contact, Biden has led the Democratic field throughout most of the primary race’s early months — he’s leading with 30 percent in the most current Morning Consult poll, six points ahead of the next contender, Bernie Sanders. But another Biden insider who spoke to Time expects that Biden’s lead during his non-campaign will be harder to maintain post-announcement: “This guy’s best day is the day he announces. Everything after that gets worse.”

ELECTORAL INTERFERENCE: Democrats Push to Throw Trump Off 2020 Ballot in 18 States
Democrats are threatening to remove President Trump from the ballot in 2020 unless he gives away personal information to the public.
Now that FBI spook Robert Mueller’s Russian collusion investigation is over and yielded no evidence implicating President Trump, Democrats have moved onto Trump’s tax returns as the bogeyman threatening our electoral integrity.

Democratic-run states are even willing to jeopardize the integrity of the 2020 presidential election over their new witch hunt against the President. Eighteen liberal states are threatening to remove Trump from the ballot in 2020 if he does not release his tax returns.
The National Conference of State Legislatures reports on the Democratic collusion that may impact the next presidential election:
“As of February 20, 2017 legislators in 18 states (Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia) have introduced bills” to require “future presidential candidates to disclose income tax returns in order to be placed on the general election ballot.”
The Illinois Senate has already passed one version of the bill that would force candidates for president and vice president to submit the previous five years of tax returns that will be viewable to the public on the secretary of state webpage.
“If you have nothing to hide, you shouldn’t worry about anything,” said Democratic state Sen. Tony Munoz on the Senate floor, arguing for his electoral interference scheme.
Republican state Sen. Dale Righter noted that there have been two Supreme Court rulings that would make a measure such as this unconstitutional. He cited Anderson v. Celebrezze (1983) and Williams v. Rhodes (1968) where SCOTUS ruled that it is illegal and unconstitutional for states to alter national ballot qualifications as the Democrats are trying to accomplish with their arbitrary power-grab.
“This is, quite frankly, with all due respect to the sponsor, an embarrassing waste of the Senate’s time,” Righter said.
The Democrats have shown their willingness to exhaust the time, money, and patience of the American public as they desperately try to undo the 2016 presidential election and stop Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda. If they cannot get the public to care about this tax return hoax, they will concoct another Alinskyist scam as they cling to what’s left of their power.

The Daily Caller reported a Chinese state-owned company hacked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private server and may have had real-time access to her emails; reaction from Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.
Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert doubled down after the FBI dismissed claims that a Chinese state-owned company hacked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
'[P]artisan politics, sadly, are very much at play within some of the leadership at the FBI," the Texas congressman said in a statement late Wednesday.
The Daily Caller first reported that the FBI was notified of the purported hack in 2015, when the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) warned the bureau of the intrusion. The hack reportedly implanted code that generated a “courtesy copy” for almost all Clinton's emails – which was then forwarded to the Chinese company.
A source briefed on the matter confirmed to Fox News the details of the Caller’s reporting. Gohmert also had told Fox News on Tuesday that the emails were obtained by a foreign country’s intelligence, though he declined to name the country in question.
But on Wednesday, the FBI sharply disputed the claims, saying it “has not found any evidence the servers were compromised.”
In his overnight statement, Gohmert argued it was the ICIG – not the FBI – that discovered the breach. He said the FBI conveniently omitted that detail.
