Not sure why President Trump claimed during an interview that "Jeff Sessions hired Rosenstein," as Trump personally nominated Rosenstein to serve as Deputy Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice on February 1, 2017.
Maybe Sessions requested him? Dunno.
