Reposting this from last bread. Anons, this guy in New Mexico that was detaining illegals is a pawn in a political stunt. As if we didn’t know already, it seems like the liberal left still has the upper hand when it comes to the illegals. He was arrested for being a felon in possession of firearms, but the firearms were found in 2017. Why in the hell was he arrested then?

I’ve been looking for court docs and haven’t been able to find anything yet. From what I can gather, the charge is felon in possession of a firearm.
The talk of plot to assassinate stem from allegation that were made in 2017, and FBI investigated at that time. Apparently, they didn’t find enough evidence of it being true, or they would have charged him back then.
Okay, just found the press release on DOJ site. Hell, even the weapons were found in 2017, and he’s being arrested for that now? WTF? This stinks.
