Trump meets with Twitter's CEO

met with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Tuesday, a White House spokeswoman confirmed to The Hill.

After Motherboard reported that the two were set to meet Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in an email to The Hill that the meeting had already taken place.

The meeting comes just hours after the president lashed out at Twitter, reiterating his allegations that the company is discriminating against him and other conservatives.

"Very discriminatory, hard for people to sign on. Constantly taking people off list. Big complaints from many people. Different names-over 100 [million] But should be much higher than that if Twitter wasn’t playing their political games," Trump wrote Tuesday morning in a pair of tweets.

"No wonder Congress wants to get involved - and they should. Must be more, and fairer, companies to get out the WORD!"
