2Nd 0 years ago I left my drunken drug addict life behind in Flint, Michigan and hopped on a plane with a suitcase headed for BFE Alaska. Had a few tough years but learned from hard-scrabble independent doers how to make my own on my own terms in this world. Best 2nd half of my life. One I could have never imagined for myself. Sorry to sound crass, in saying grow a pair, that was harsh (I don't intend to judge, just wish to help inspire), but I know how scary taking the leap can be. I've done it and won anon.
