Interesting thing I read about Basin 1 at Alamitos Marina- It is used by the Harbor Master to keep impounded vessels. Like a police impound.

Sending you this for kicks. If you go the .gov website shown at bottom of map, you can get a better resolution of slip #s in the different basins. No basin # 40 I’m afraid though. And not enough slips in B1 to go to 40. But, they do discriminate on sizes of slips and I believe some stop at 40 ft.
Only that if you draw cross-hairs on Q pic LBP, the Marina is.a bulls-eye.
Did think of a 40 footer in slip 10 at Basin 1, but who can check that? A seized vessel?

Basin 1 is Harbor Master’s basin for seized vessels.
Damn, I must be tired. Posted to mysedf twice. One thought was that Basin 1 is Harbor master(ie law enforcement) where they keep seized vessels. Thought maybe Basin 1, slip 10 on the 40(foot vessel)?
