We are free to choose the good thru the son, the father, and holy spirit. All else is deception and darkness which can not overcome the light. This "logos" is inherent to the story of Christ and is of central importance to Western civilization.
Origen was the first Christian philosopher-theologian to write a systematic theology of logos. He resurrected and revitalized the degenerated Greek philosophy of "logos" by his exegesis of Scripture, reconciling the concerns of Irenaeus with the philosophical leanings of the apologists, and formulated the ontological status of the "logos" as mediator between God and creation which exhibits both a transcendent and an imminent aspect.
