This might be a long shot but here goes…

 

Notre-dame was built on the location of a Roman temple to Jupiter, evidenced by the discovery under Notre-dame in 1710 of a pillar that was erected by the first society in Paris, the Pillar of the Boatmen, soon after the Roman conquest of Gaul. It is the oldest monument in Paris. Upon this pillar is depicted a wholly Celtic god, the antler horned Cernunnos, which is one of only 3 known texts of the name of a widely worshiped deity. Cernunnos was a fertility god and was always depicted as being seated cross legged.
