Consider philosophies of rule. Tribal leaders/family heads rising in Europe into the territory and "shoes" of the old Roman empire. Gradec.
How would this differ from, say, Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian, and Pharisee…ical? Style dyanstic and economic rule?
There is a difference between being the family head who takes responsibility for affairs and the concept of a family line being empowered/entitled over the branch - to the extent of them not even being "real people." The old families are very old and predate civilization as we know/understand it. I do not yet know if we were all from separate regions of the planet to begin with or if we are all literally descended from the same line - but I will say this. Trace European matriarchal lines of royalty/nobility. You'll notice they almost all converge on Yugoslavia.
What you will also note is that these lines took a hell of a beating during the revolutions of the 1800s and the world wars of the 1900s, capped off by Albright and Clinton's shenanigans at the turn of the century. One would find it rather odd.
Interesting tidbit - it is the belief of many Slovenians that eden was in Yugoslavia - and there is some archaeological evidence to suggest human presence in the region before the proverbial migration out of Africa.
A bit of a side note - the character "YueYing" is based on a historical figure in the Chinese Three Kingdoms era. She had red hair and a number have speculated she was from a Western country. She was known for being extremely intelligent (and usually is a beast in Dynasty Warriors, though that's just for fun).
