executed four officials from its foreign ministry after Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump's latest summit failed, a new report has claimed.

The officials are said to have been killed by a firing squad in Pyongyang earlier this month after Kim and Trump's talks in Vietnam broke off without a deal.

A Japanese press agency reported that the rumours were spreading through the secretive country after it spoke to a trade official who recently visited North Korea and a source inside the hermit state.

According to the report, North Korea had accused the four officials of selling information to the US before the Hanoi summit, causing it to fail.

James Comey’s Unpaid “Special Government Employee” Daniel Richman…

Posted on April 23, 2019 by sundance

When considering who were the FBI contractors, with special program access to the NSA database, conducting unauthorized searches and extracting results… there’s a specific type of contractor described by FISA Judge Rosemary Collyer. One who was able to work around the security protocols: [Page 21] “systems …. that do not interface with NSA’s query audit system“.

In 2018 congressman Jim Jordan made mention of an issue where James Comey had a special employee on assignment ‘off-the-books’. People started asking questions and Fox News Catherine Herridge detailed how Daniel Richman held special access privileges to the FBI, as an outcome of former FBI Director James Comey authorizing his friend as a “Special Government Employee” or SGE.

(VIA FOX) […] The professor, Daniel Richman, confirmed the special status in response to an inquiry from Fox News, while referring other questions, including on the scope of his work, to the FBI.

“I did indeed have SGE status with the Bureau (for no pay),” Richman wrote in an email.

Richman emerged last year as the former FBI director’s contact for leaking memos documenting his private discussions with President Trump – memos that are now the subject of an inspector general review over the presence of classified material. Sources familiar with Richman’s status at the FBI told Fox News that he was assigned to “special projects” by Comey, and had a security clearance as well as badge access to the building. Richman’s status was the subject of a Memorandum of Understanding. (read more)

Wait, let’s look at something here.

From the article the benefits included: “Sources familiar with Richman’s status at the FBI told Fox News that he was assigned to “special projects” by Comey, and had a security clearance as well as badge access to the building. Richman’s status was the subject of a Memorandum of Understanding.”

A few paragraphs later, this: “Richman’s portfolio included the use of encrypted communications by terror suspects.”

Oh my. Well, well, well… You see what’s being described here. There’s only one way to gain access to “encrypted communications” and that means having access to the FBI and NSA database.

Accepting he obviously had such access…. what would be the probability that Daniel Richman was one of these?

Should Natural Born Citizenship Be a Requirement for All Federal Elected Offices?

By Dean Malik

On February 27, 2019 at a speaking engagement held at a Washington D.C. bookstore, newly elected Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar stated, with apparent reference to both American Jews and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee ("AIPAC"), "I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country." This comment followed recent tweets from Omar suggesting that American elected officials were "bought off" by the pro-Israel lobby, and earlier tweets from before she was elected, beseeching Allah to punish Israel for its "evil deeds."

The tweets were roundly condemned as dog whistle anti-Semitism both by conservatives and members of her own party. However, the greater question raised by Omar's conduct before and after her election pertains to the path that brought her to the United States as a young refugee from a war-torn country on the Horn of Africa and ultimately lead to her becoming a powerful elected official. In an attempt to defend or minimize Omar's statements, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered, "She didn't have a full appreciation of how [her words] landed on other people where these words have a history and cultural impact that might have been unknown to her."

The import of Pelosi's comments is clear. Omar comes, as an immigrant, from a different cultural milieu, and she could not be expected to understand how Americans, given our culture and history, would interpret her statements. Whether joking about the American view of terrorist organization al Qaeda, dismissing the notion that America is a "Christian" nation, or referring to the 9/11 terrorist attacks as "some people did something," Omar's apparent indifference to American culture and history has been showcased on multiple occasions.

It is fitting, albeit ironic, that Omar, a naturalized American citizen, by raising an accusation of dual loyalty and self-dealing against other Americans, has opened the door to a conversation about whether natural born citizenship should in fact be a requirement for the very office she holds.

Under Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, natural born citizenship is a requirement for eligibility to run for President; the section provides:

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Natural born citizenship is defined generally as citizenship by birth as opposed to naturalization. Prior to the inclusion of this requirement, John Jay, member of the Constitutional Convention wrote to George Washington the following in 1787:

Acting Baltimore Mayor Young fires 3 aides to Mayor Catherine Pugh

Ian Duncan

Acting Baltimore Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young announced Wednesday that he’s fired three aides with close ties to Mayor Catherine Pugh. A spokesman for Young confirmed the aides are Gary Brown Jr., Poetri Deal and Afra Vance-White. Lester Davis said they were informed by letter Monday and were…

cting Baltimore Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young said Tuesday he is frustrated he doesn’t know more about Mayor Catherine Pugh’s plans to return from a leave of absence — and when asked what it would look like if Pugh returned to her duties, he said, “I would hate to see it.”

Young made the comments during an interview with host Tom Hall on WYPR-FM’s “Midday” show. They were clearest indication Young has given that he doesn’t want Pugh to come back to work, but he stopped short of calling for her resignation.

Pugh announced April 1 she would take an immediate, indefinite and paid leave of absence from her $185,000-a-year position to recover from pneumonia. Young, the City Council president, stepped up to fill the role of mayor.

Young told Hall that he hasn’t spoken with Pugh for more than two weeks and doesn’t know her current health status or plans.

“It’s frustrating,” Young said. “I would like to know when she plans to return, if she’s going to return.”

After Young said he would hate to see Pugh return, Hall asked if that meant he was calling on Pugh to resign. Young said he was not doing so.

“I’m not going to say that,” Young said. “I’m wishing the mayor well.”

Pugh’s leave coincided with revelations about some $800,000 in payments she received for her children’s “Healthy Holly” books — some of the money from organizations with business before the city. The Office of the State Prosecutor is investigating the book deals and Young has ordered a review of recently awarded city contracts.

The 14 members of the City Council called April 8 on Pugh to resign; Young has said that as acting mayor, it wouldn’t be appropriate for him to comment on whether she should quit. The city members of the state House of Delegates and the Greater Baltimore Committee civic organization have joined in the council’s call for Pugh to step down.

Pugh, Young, the City Council members and the city’s House delegates are Democrats.

Pugh’s staff has said she intends to come back to work once her health improves. Her attorney, Steven Silverman, did not respond Tuesday to a message seeking comment.

Young has placed six aides to Pugh on paid leave, but has said repeatedly he can’t confirm or comment on the moves. Hall asked Young who was doing the work of the staff members who are not on the job.

“As my executive team continues to vet what's needed and what’s not needed,” Young said, “we will fill those positions, as appropriate.”
