How do we balance the geopolitical benefits of the War on Drugs with the domestic drawbacks?

Stop prescribing top tier pain killers for every kind of pain. Breaking a bone isn't cause for needing a few weeks of Oxys. Start with less severe things like Codeine or OTC meds. Require doctors to begin justifying every pain killer prescription and why alternatives weren't viable.

Start labeling addiction medications as such. If we need to be warned that a medication can make us drowsy then we certainly need to be warned it can make us addicted. Both on the bottle and by the prescribing physician.

Legalize medical Marijuana and remove Marijuana from schedule 1. There is no justifiable argument against this anymore. Recreational and medical are different.

Improve opportunity for youth instead of death penalty for drug dealers. Those who would be caught are merely pawns anyway and if the youth has no opportunity the pawns will always be replaceable.

Stop allowing children who fail in school to move to the next grade. Start holding students back again. Embarrass them in front of their peers, don't treat them as equals. Severely punish school administrators who are playing games with the education of the youth in order to line their own pockets.

Stop the brainwashing of the youth that they have to go to college to be successful. This is causing many to NOT be successful because they consider things like the trades to be "beneath" them when they can't even read or write at an elementary school level. This also dumbs down higher education for those who do belong there.
