DHS Releases 7,000 Border Crossers Into US Cities Over Five Day Period

Over the five-day period, El Paso, TX received 2,800 of the 7,000 border crossers, while San Antonio, TX received 2,200, Phoenix - 1,200 and San Diego - 800.

Since December 21, 2018, about 153,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into the interior of the U.S. This dictates that DHS is releasing about 38,250 border crossers and illegal aliens into the country every month with close to 10,000 released every week and about 1,400 released every day.

At this rate, almost half-a-million border crossers could be released into American communities by the end of the year. According to the Pew Research Center, there were 10.7 million illegal immigrants in the United States at the end of 2016

Acting Baltimore Mayor Young fires 3 aides to Mayor Catherine Pugh

A spokesman for Young confirmed the aides who were fired are Gary Brown Jr., Poetri Deal and Afra Vance-White. All have connections to Pugh that predate her time as mayor.

Three other aides to Pugh, including her chief of staff and top lobbyist, remain on paid leave.

Pugh and Vance-White are co-owners, along with Pratt, of 2 Chic Boutique, a now-closed consignment store in the Pigtown neighborhood.

In 2017, Brown pleaded guilty to a campaign finance charge after the state prosecutor’s office found he used the bank accounts of some of his relatives to donate $18,000 to Pugh’s 2016 mayoral campaign. He received probation before judgement. Pugh stood by Brown after his prosecution, calling him a “good employee” and letting him keep his job at City Hall.
