The same reason that certain people born with XY sex chromosomes (male) decide they want to adopt external characteristics usually attributed to people born with XX chromosomes (female). Hair style, makeup, boobs, clothing, etc.
It is total insanity.
On one hand by their gender-morphing they try to deny that biological sex matters. On the other hand, they adopt external indicia of the opposite sex as if the external indicia matter either.
Two mutually self-contradictory ideas that cancel each other out.
