Satan is a spirit being and the first lieutenant to Lucifer who is another spirit being. Neither had/have physical bodies. Lucifer is dead. Satan still alive but imprisoned on another planet. The Devil is another spirit and he's dead too. None of these three evil (fallen) spirits remain on Earth which is why Satanism, Luciferianism, and Devil worship have sprung up in their place. If they were still here they would be worshipped directly by their followers instead of by proxy of religions/cults as it currently is being done.
