Probably the same contracted investigators used by OPM / DOHA that did interviews / information gathering on anything suspect in a clearance background investigation before getting shut down in 2014:  USIS.  This company was heavily funded by the Carlyle Group at it's inception and was a victim of a cyber attack and fund "that hackers gained access to USIS computers by pivoting from an SAP system managed by a THIRD PARTY."   To make shit even more interesting, investigations are now being handled by CACI in Chantilly, VA who I can personally attest to being involved in shady shit, especially since they kept changing from CACI to SRA to CACI to SRA and back to CACI to avoid goverment contract caps.
