In a new lawsuit, William Floyd, an ex-assistant to Bauman, claims that Bauman forcibly performed oral sex on him and that both the state and Los Angeles County parties failed to take appropriate action in response to the incident. He says that he began working for Bauman in 2016, adding that assaults occurred on multiple occasions before the party tried to make him quit by forcing him to Sacramento.

Bauman resigned from his chairmanship last year amid other allegations of sexual assault.
