I think the individuals (assets you list) were brought in after the Collyer ruling shut down the contractor use of raw data. They were instrumental in creating contacts to lead to FISA warrant on CP.

The assets were sent to Lure the campaign people into suspicion. But I think Alperovich (sp?) and Simpson were doing this work for years using illegally obtained info.
Could be. I’m just thinking of the people who were directly involved in Spygate. Crowdstrike and Fusion up to their eyeballs. And we know Simpson contracted earlier. Crowdstrike guy is ex-FBI.
Steele definitely worked with FBI, but idk if you’d call it contracting. He was an MI6 agent. So it would be 5eye work, wouldn’t it?
Good find. I could be completely off track. These strike me as more on the up & up and you’d call in Fusion for the dirty work.
