Call to dig on Santa Fe, NM

I was looking into the Portland State University Chemistry Professor who was arrested for cp yesterday.

He is connected to The Santa Fe Institute, as is Jeffrey Epstein. That institute needs a closer look: symbols on it’s page should raise some eyebrows. And Sante Fe generally seems a little wonky. Some people at Voat looked into it a bit:

The institute is like 2 miles from the (very particular-looking) Mason’s lodge (some digs on that in the Voat link too). Epstein has (had?) a property, Zorro Ranch, not too terribly far south of Santa Fe.

So I started looking at the local pizza joints, and one eventually jumped out at me. Back Road Pizza https://backroadpizza.com

Their logo is maybe questionable, but also could be happenstance. There are some pics of the restaurant where they have a checkerboard floor (red and black). I don’t know if the use of the Nautical Star is relevant to these kinds of things. And then the IG page.

The owner seems to be well entrenched in the community (ostensibly a good thing), even serving on the City Council’s planning commission for a time. Ok, fine. But she served with a guy named Vince Kadlubek, and he seems weird: installation artist, meteoric rise after getting financing from George RR Martin, was a controversial pick by the Mayor.

Something’s just off, or am I grabbing at straws?

1 - Openly “Illuminati” or parody/spoof?

2 - Nice enough for Valentine’s, but it’s looks like the symbol for Girl-Lover, and it’s the only picture they’ve posted multiple time (3). However, it’s not used for Valentine’s day every year. For a place that promotes its aesthetic, I was surprised to see it repeated.

3 - They have plenty of Halloween themed pictures, so I’m fine with the eyeballs (if you go looking), but this one is from August. Plausible deniability, I guess, but taken all together...

4 - Bourdain is the only “non-local” I saw on their IG, let alone only celebrity. Again, they could have just been big fans.

By “non-local”, I mean all the pictures on Insta that include people seem to be employees or people eating their pizza, whether they’re a tourist or not...this place attracts tourists. It has won awards and was featured on the Food Network’s Diners Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. (Can’t find link to episode, but it’s no secret)
