Getting actual science used when evaluating vaccines would be a good start.

Like every president we have had in any our lifetimes, the establishment 'educated' him.
I know many people in the pubic health profession, promotion to the top depends on towing the line. Most at the top are glorified marketers with PhDs. In other words, very good at parroting information without question. Question the narrative and they are very good at belittling and shaming while restating the 'unquestionable science'.
Trump seems good at fighting the establishment when it is going after him, but remember Make America Great Again, hearkens s back to a time when America was great. Many people think of the 50's, that is when the Federal government wove the narrative of federal institutions working for the betterment of the American people and where rarely questioned because the merit pushed the most qualified to the top. The deference given to 'experts' is part of why that time period seemed so idealistic; people did not need to think for themselves and yet their lives got better. Trump spends a lot of time talking up the federal institutions, always saying it is just a few bad apples at the top. From what i have seen, the rot goes much deeper, not because the average worker is a bad person, but instead because they are cogs in a system and that does not reward intellectual curiosity and they forgot how critical thinking works.
