Twitter has banned the European Parliament campaign account for UKIP candidate Carl Benjamin, better known online as Sargon of Akkad.

The ban took place around the same time as they banned the campaign account for independent candidate Tommy Robinson.

Benjamin’s account had approximately 10,000 followers when it was removed from the platform.

Like Robinson, Benjamin himself is also banned from Twitter. However, the campaign accounts are both said to be run by staff members or campaign volunteers.

Rosenstein Slams Obama For Failing To Call Out Russian Election Interference

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein slammed the Obama administration's failure to "publicize" Russian efforts to meddle in the 2016 election, according to the National Review.

Rosenstein - who recommended firing former FBI Director James Comey and then oversaw the special counsel investigation which ensued - said that the Obama administration did the public a disservice by choosing not to publicly reveal "the full story" of what authorities say happened.

"Some critical decisions about the Russia investigation were made before I got there. The previous Administration chose not to publicize the full story about Russian computer hackers and social media trolls, and how they relate to a broader strategy to undermine America," said Rosenstein in remarks to the Armenian Bar Association's Public Servants Dinner.

China, Russia… ‘we all have to get rid’ of nukes, Trump says amid reports he eyes arms control deal

Donald Trump has called on the US, Russia, and China to reduce their nuclear arsenals amid reports that his administration is planning to propose a landmark arms control deal with Beijing and Moscow.

In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, the US president said that he welcomed Russia’s efforts to help denuclearize the Korean Peninsula – but that more must be done.

“We want to get rid of the nuclear weapons, we all have to get rid [of them]. Russia has to get rid of them, and China has to get rid of them,” Trump stated.

His comments coincide with reports that the White House is gearing up for an ambitious arms control treaty with Russia and China. The deal, still in its early stages, would impose restrictions on unregulated nuclear weapons and would call on Beijing to join an arms-control pact verifying China’s nuclear capabilities.

In past months, Trump has publicly expressed support for the idea of limiting or reducing the world’s nuclear arsenals.

“Between Russia and China and us, we’re all making hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of weapons, including nuclear [weapons], which is ridiculous,” Trump said in early April.

The president continued: “I think it’s much better if we all got together and we didn’t make these weapons. So I think that’s something that could be a phase two after this [trade war] is done.”

Mike Pence to the NRA: ‘No One Is Taking Your Guns’

Vice President Mike Pence addressed the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum and invoked the words of Charlton Heston, saying, “From my cold, dead hands.”

He was referencing Heston’s famous 2000 speech in which he hoisted a rifle over his head and said, “I want to say those fighting words for everyone within the sound of my voice to hear and to heed: ‘From my cold, dead hands.'”

The crowd erupted in applause.

Pence stressed that under the Trump administration, “no one is taking your guns.”

He noted that “the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms is a freedom that is at the heart” of the American experience. He said the colonists won their freedoms not simply because of the “power of their ideas,” but “the powder in their muskets.”

Pence added, “Firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens don’t threaten our families; they protect our families. And firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens make our communities more safe, not less safe.”

Who Are The Bad Guys?: US Forces Killed More Afghan Civilians in 2019 than the Terrorists Did

For the first time since the US invaded Afghanistan, allied forces have outpaced the terrorists in slaughtering civilians, including innocent women and children.

A rather disturbing report was released by the United Nations this week detailing how in the first part of 2019, US forces and their allies killed more civilians than the Taliban and other terrorist groups.

According to the most recent UN data, Afghan civilians were killed in greater numbers by NATO and pro-government security forces in the first three months of 2019 than by armed militants. Half of those slaughtered by allied troops were women and children.

While the number of overall civilians killed slightly decreased, according to the report, this is the first time since the invasion after 9/11 that the US and its allies have slaughtered more civilians than the terrorist groups they are ostensibly fighting.

The United Nations data breaks down as follows:

In the first quarter of 2019, pro-government forces were responsible for the deaths of 305 civilians, while insurgents killed 227.

The leading causes of civilian deaths were air strikes (145 fatalities) and ground search operations primarily carried out by US-backed Afghan forces (72).

Women and children comprised half of civilian casualties from aerial operations, with international forces responsible for the vast majority of these.

Overall, 581 civilians were killed and 1,192 wounded, representing a 23 percent decrease in overall casualties on the same quarter last year.

The numbers are apparently so disturbing that UN officials are now calling for an investigation into the killings.

Poland: LGBT Ideology ‘a Threat to our Nation, Identity, and Existence’

LGBT campaigners’ demands such as ‘gender ideology’ and the promotion of alternative sexual lifestyles to young children at school present a serious threat to Poland, the head of the nation’s ruling party has said.

Speaking at a conference organised by the group Catholic Action on Wednesday, Jaroslaw Kaczynski denounced ”an attack on the family and children”, following the signing of a 12-point ‘LGBT + Declaration’ by Warsaw’s liberal mayor.

“We are dealing with a direct attack on the family and children… the sexualisation of children, that entire LGBT movement, gender,” he said, denouncing ‘gender theory’ which claims that sex is a social construct and that people can ‘choose’ their own gender, and which the Warsaw Declaration says must be promoted in schools.

“These ideologies, philosophies, all of this is imported, these are not internal Polish mechanisms,” Kaczynski told the conference in Wloclawek.

“They are a threat to Polish identity, to our nation, to its existence and thus to the Polish state,” he added.

“Communism was not defeated” when the Berlin Wall fell, the Law and Justice (PiS) party leader said, asserting that freedom of speech and religion are under attack from a post-1989 “formation” of pro-EU and media forces which have been deeply hostile to the Church and Polish patriotism.

The Roman Catholic Church in Poland was among voices highly critical of the Warsaw Declaration, expressing “deep concern” over education plans declaring schools must adopt ‘LGBT-inclusive’ education guidelines, warning that the plan “contradicts the constitutional right of parents to raise their children according to their own belief”.

Putin arrives in Beijing

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in China to take part in the One Belt One Road international forum on April 26-27.

Putin travelled to Beijing from Vladivostok where he held talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Putin’s working program will begin on Friday. Together with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, he will speak at the opening ceremony of the forum in Beijing's National Convention Center. The Russian leader will also hold a series of meetings, specifically, with the leaders of Azerbaijan, Serbia, Egypt and Cyprus and Myanmar’s foreign minister. Putin’s bilateral talks with Xi Jinping are due to be held too.

The forum’s three working sessions are scheduled for April 27. Putin plans to address one of them.

Breitbart News reported on April 23 that Kushner's told an audience at the #Time100 summit his plan for Trump's immigration reform maintains "our country’s humanitarian values", reunifies illegal immigrant families, and sports a new guest worker program Amnesty.

Six months after legalization, high prices and supply issues boost illicit pot market

When cannabis supply at Small Town Buds begins to dwindle, co-owner Chris Felgate shuts the doors of his Devon, Alta., shop and turns customers away.

Even though the legal retailer often still has oils and capsules in stock, most shoppers are looking for the store’s namesake product, he said.

“Having our doors open with no flower available was making customers more angry… It’s like going into a grocery store and not having groceries,” he said.

Since he first opened his doors on Oct. 17, the closures became a near-weekly ritual as demand outstripped the supply he was able to procure from the provincial government distributor, he said.

The situation began improving in March, however, after the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis agency added additional suppliers, and he has kept his doors open consistently since. But the weekly supply he receives still lacks in selection and quantity, Felgate said.

“We’re lucky if we’re getting one or two cases of strains? We purchase everything that is available to us, whether we like the product or not.”

It has been six months since Canada became the first industrialized country to legalize recreational cannabis, in a bid to stamp out the illicit market. On that landmark day, high demand resulted in lineups at the few bricks-and-mortar stores that were ready, delivery delays and stock outs.

Licensed producers ramped up production in anticipation of Oct. 17, but product was scant and many companies pointed to supply chain issues as a major cause of the bottleneck.

And on this 4-20, the first annual celebration of cannabis culture post-legalization, many pot enthusiasts are still smoking joints they did not buy through legal channels.

Tech giants now open about “centralized censorship” of current events

Now the tech giants are getting together and discussing “centralized censorship” to coordinate the universal blocking of videos and news reports that question official narratives. In 2017, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, and YouTube launched the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT). In a bid to keep the global internet safe from terrorist propaganda, the tech giants have devised a database system that identifies “extreme and egregious” content so it can be removed in real-time. This is how the Tech giants plan to control the public’s perception on future tragedies and historical events. GIFCT allows participating social media companies to share a database of hashed files to automatically block users from uploading content that has already been disavowed by the tech elite.

The GIFCT database was recently used to quickly remove content related to the recent terrorist attacks on ChristChurch in New Zealand. According to Chris Sonderby, VP and Deputy General Counsel for Facebook, “We continue to work around the clock to prevent this content from appearing on our site, using a combination of technology and people.”

Staff members are quitting their jobs at the U.K.’s National Health Service because of rampant transgender experimentation on children

As many as 18 people have thus far resigned from the NHS gender clinic due to outrage and outright horror over what they’ve been witnessing take place there over the past several years. In essence, children as young as three are being given puberty-blockers, and in some cases irreversible cross-sex hormones, in pandering concession to the Cult of LGBT.

“They believe that some gay children struggling with their sexuality are being wrongly diagnosed as ‘transgender’ by the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) clinic,” reports reveal about how these former NHS employees feel about what’s going on in the name of “tolerance” and “acceptance.”

“All five former staff were responsible for deciding which trans-identifying youngsters should be given hormone blockers to halt their sexual development. The vast majority of those who begin blockers go on to irreversible cross-sex hormones once they reach 16,” the report adds.

For Snowden, the story about Assange’s arrest should focus more on Ecuador’s motivations, and the fact that Assange is being held to a different standard than president Donald Trump. The former NSA analyst mentioned the fact that Ecuador got $4.2 billion in funds from the International Monetary Fund in early March as a sign the country was getting closer to the West, and in turn more inclined to give up Assange.

“Journalists who have been covering the story haven’t really been looking at that, because Julian as an individual is such a tragically flawed figure,” Snowden said.

Snowden also criticized people who changed their minds about Assange after the 2016 election.

“A lot of Americans now hate Julian,” he said. “Even though the sort of people who are on the center to the left part of the spectrum had been singing his praises during the Bush administration, now they’re on the other side because of his unfortunate political choices in the 2016 elections.”

How the Obama White House engaged Ukraine to give Russia collusion narrative an early boost

As Donald Trump began his meteoric rise to the presidency, the Obama White House summoned Ukrainian authorities to Washington to coordinate ongoing anti-corruption efforts inside Russia’s most critical neighbor.

The January 2016 gathering, confirmed by multiple participants and contemporaneous memos, brought some of Ukraine’s top corruption prosecutors and investigators face to face with members of former President Obama’s National Security Council (NSC), FBI, State Department and Department of Justice (DOJ).

The agenda suggested the purpose was training and coordination. But Ukrainian participants said it didn’t take long — during the meetings and afterward — to realize the Americans’ objectives included two politically hot investigations: one that touched Vice President Joe Biden’s family and one that involved a lobbying firm linked closely to then-candidate Trump.

U.S. officials “kept talking about how important it was that all of our anti-corruption efforts be united,” said Andrii Telizhenko, then a political officer in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington tasked with organizing the meeting.

Telizhenko, who no longer works for the Ukrainian Embassy, said U.S. officials volunteered during the meetings — one of which was held in the White House’s Old Executive Office Building — that they had an interest in reviving a closed investigation into payments to U.S. figures from Ukraine’s Russia-backed Party of Regions.

That 2014 investigation was led by the FBI and focused heavily on GOP lobbyist Paul Manafort, whose firm long had been tied to Trump through his partner and Trump pal, Roger Stone.

Agents interviewed Manafort in 2014 about whether he received undeclared payments from the party of ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, an ally of Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and whether he engaged in improper foreign lobbying.

The FBI shut down the case without charging Manafort.
